As I was eagerly waiting to review an alternative/rock song since a long a time Anurag Sarmah, vocalist at Virgin Creep, an alternative/hard rock act from Guwahati came up to me with their new single “This Insanity”. I am glad that they contacted me as I was delighted with their demo.

Coming to the song, it starts with a pretty good acoustic intro and the vocal catches the pace with it. At this you one can get a little Creed feel. The song further develops with intense alternative guitar riffs and an implausible bass line is maintained throughout the song. Keeping in my mind about their genre, the drums could have been better in the song. Just before the guitar solo you will hear a bit alteration which I personally loved a lot.

The overall song gives a blink of superlative production. At some parts you can hear some double-layered vocals which are really mesmerizing. A notable mention to the lyricist . So, if you are an alternative/hard rock fan then you must go for this band.
