Addiction is a disease and not a character defect. Just like you experience pain in the abdomen when you are suffering from gall bladder stone, you experience problems lin relationships, finance, mental health and physical well being when you suffer from addiction. Dr Ronald Bathari who himself is a doctor ( an anaesthesiologist and intensivist) is no exception. Through the song he wants to convey the message of changing the perspective that the society carry towards addiction and inspire people suffering from the disease to take the step of getting help. The society should see addiction as a disease and take steps to spread awareness about the myths and realities of addiction. Dr Ronald has been clean for the last one year and he believes that the best way to spread awareness about addiction is by the good use of social media. Through his song and contents in facebook, youtube, instagram he is trying to motivate other addicts and educate people.
