The second music video from the second season of Sony’s Project Resound featuring Karsh Kale is officially out. The song, titled “We All Fall” is a soulful collaboration wherein traditional sounds of India are fused seamlessly with contemporary electronica to make it more appealing to today’s audience. ‘We all fall’ is truly a reinterpretation of the traditional thumri with a modern day music twist.
Speaking about the song Karsh Kale said,
I am very excited to be a part of Sony’s Project Resound. It gave me an opportunity to go back and explore what I originally did when I started making music, that is find the meeting place between Indian classical music and contemporary electronica. It allowed me to keep my music pure in its context even though we took everything out of context and created something that pushed the boundaries of conventional sound.
