Meghalaya Icon 4_PosterRunning for the fourth year, Meghalaya Icon 2013 stands for the sole purpose of spreading awareness on HIV and AIDS using music as a platform. In the  past three years, bands from different parts of the state have been  competing but this year a new addition has been made, that is,the  inclusion of  not just bands but even “SOLO” artists and” FOLK TROUPES”  The year 2013 is more special as the event is being held not just in three districts as in the past few years but we  are extending to seven districts that is East Jaintia Hills  (Khliehriat), West Jaintia Hills (Jowai), Ri Bhoi (Umsning), West Garo  Hills (Tura), East Garo Hills (Willamnagar), South West Khasi Hills (  Mawkyrwat) and East Khasi Hills (Shillong). Hoping for a great turn out !

Over all prizes to be won over 2.5 Lakhs

Winner of District events Rs 10,000/- and 5000/-

Winner of Grand finale will get Rs 1,00,000 /-
