The video was directed by Joseph Pattisall and is an ode to vintage 90’s videos ala That Dog, Weezer and Sleater Kinney.  The track is featured on the band’s most recent EP The Best Ways to Disappear, which was released in late 2012 by Violently Happy Records/Bridge Nine.

The Best Ways to Disappear was called “an onslaught of cuteness in the best way possible” by Alternative Press and MTV claims, ” the thing we love most about Candy Hearts is their ability to breathe new life into the mid-to-late ’90s distortion-based pop punk”.  This EP follows up Candy Hearts’ 2011 full-length, Everything’s Amazing & Nobody’s Happy, with six new catchy songs produced by Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory (and head of Violently Happy Records).

Candy Hearts spent the tail end of last year on the road with Citizen, followed by a run with New Found Glory and The Story So Far.  This Spring, Candy Hearts will be canvassing the US alongside Allison Weiss, Pentimento and What’s Eating Gilbert (on select dates).  Information on the tour can be found via tour sponsor AlterThePress. Additionally, Candy Hearts will be playing a special acoustic set tonight at the Johnny Cupcakes flagship store in Boston at 279 Newbury Street.  Attendees will receive an exclusive collaborative pin pack that will be available at the store – show up early and find more details on the event here.
