Sceptre-Online2Indian thrash metal giants Sceptre have announced the release of their 2nd full-length album and released a video revealing
the band’s new logo. The album comes after a considerable gap of 5 years since the release of their debut record in 2008 ‘Now Or Never’.
Bass player Janus Sanyal commented “We have been writing the material for quite a while despite the band going through some line-up changes after our debut album was released. We finally took some time off and in early 2012 we started the recording process at Demonic Studios with Demonstealer (Demonic Resurrection/Workshop) engineering the album. We kept everything under wraps as we wanted to make a big impact this time. The album is finally ready and is going to release sometime in February. Sceptre fan’s can look forward some ass-kicking metal.”
The band’s new logo has been designed by Aakash Dwivedi, a talented young designer who has worked with Indian artists such as Albatross and Solar Deity and more recently did some artwork for sludge metal veterans Eyehategod.
