Scavenger Rock Idol is back for it’s second season and will be held on 19th, 20th & 21st April
at Aizawl.
Registration Procedure:
All bands will have to submit their band picture, biography & originals in mp3 format to victor.rexa@gmail.com or booma96@gmail.com.
Last Date of Registration: 1st APRIL 2012
20 bands will be selected for their respective demos who have to pay an Entry fee of Rs. 1500/- each to confirm their participation for the event.
Format:
Day 1:
Prelims:
All the bands will be given 12 minutes on stage. (the bands will be allowed to perform any of their desired choice of songs within the given time). Twelve bands will be selected for Day 2 .
Day 2:
Quarter Finals:
The selected Bands will be given 12 minutes. Bands will have to perform 1 Original and 1 song as of the Judges choice from any of the following Music listed:
(Note : Bands can perform these songs as to their desired GENRE but Too much Modification of the songs will not be preferable )

Day 3.:
Semi Finals:
6 Bands will be selected. All bands must be ready to perform an all original setlist.
15 minutes on stage and off stage..
Day 4:
Finals:
4 bands will be selected . Bands will be given complete freedom to perform any song .
30 minutes will be given to each finalist.
Prizes:
The winner of Scavenger Idol takes away a sum of Rs. 1,00,000
The 1st runner up takes away Rs. 30,000/-
Individuals Prizes are Rs 5,000/- each for best Vocalist, Guitarist, Bassist & Drummer.
