Comments guitarist Keshav Dhar, “I’m extremely thrilled for us to have won not one but three awards at the Rolling Stone Metal Awards this year! To be awarded Best Song and Best Emerging Artist is a huge honour for us – we really put our hearts and souls into our music and the debut album this year, and it’s a great feeling that people and press alike are appreciating our efforts. To be voted Best Guitarist is a personal icing on the cake, as there were some stellar guitarists nominated! Thank you Rolling Stone India, and thank you to all our wonderful fans for making this such a special year for us!”
Keshav, who couldn’t attend the awards ceremony sent the following video message, which can be viewed here.

2012 has been an incredible year for SKYHARBOR. The band released their breathtaking double disc, debut album ‘Blinding White Noise: Illusion & Chaos’ on April 23rd via Basick Records to worldwide critical acclaim, which was lauded as a landmark release for the Indian independent music scene, in no small part thanks to the incredible number of international guest appearances including the likes of Marty Friedman (ex Megadeth), Daniel Tompkins (ex TesseracT), Vishal J. Singh (Amogh Symphony) and Sunneith Revankar (Bhayanak Maut). SKYHARBOR then went on to perform their debut gig at the NH7 Bacardi Festival in front of thousands of people, before supporting Metal giants, Lamb of God, in May as part of their world tour.
Pick up a copy of SKYHARBOR – Blinding White Noise: Illusion & Chaos from the Basick store or in North America you can pick the album up via Prosthetic Records. The album is also available in stores and from all good online digital retailers.
