Delhi based 19 years old young musician Mihir Raina releases his debut solo work(EP) titled ‘Then Came The Munchies’ for free download on his soundcloud page.
Mihir Raina is a guitarist/songwriter from New Delhi. He started playing the instrument at the age of 13. After playing shows and gaining experience at school level he started playing with an alternative/funk band band, Area 231 .
Together in a span of 2 years they played countless gigs across India which majorly included The Kingfisher Pubrock Fest, Tuborg Rock Tales India tour and were among the finalists at Channel [V]’s Launchpad, 2011.
His debut solo EP is a peculiar mix of influences including The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, The White Stripes, Tool, Eric Clapton, Alice in Chains, The Doors, Porcupine Tree etc, he tries to fit it all in his original music
