Guwahati based pop-prodigy Miranda Saikia releases new video

If you’re making 90’s era pop in a place like Northeast India, you’re bound to stick out. That’s exactly what twelve year old Miranda Saikia from Guwahati, Assam has in mind, and it turns out she’s pretty good at it. The child prodigy been in steady ascent for a few years now, sharing the stage with some of the region’s luminaries, and there’s even more of that to come with her recently released third album, ‘The Artist’.

Saikia has now revealed the long awaited video, off the album- I’m Sorry available for stream here:

Music Journalist Amrita Madhukalya, of Tehelka, Eclectic Vibes fame, described the video as having

intelligently executed shots, tight cinematography backed by a solid voice and intense arrangement

and this is exactly what “I’m Sorry” delivers, but with more character and all-round greater maturity.
