Great Eastern Rock ‘V’: The Northeast Today is calling for entries

Poster_TNTAfter the elevated success of Great Eastern Rock Vol. IV with over 45,000 sales, Northeast India based popular magazine The Northeast Today (TNT) is gearing up to release their 5th edition of Great Eastern Rock compilation album which is to be freely distributed along with the April ’13 edition of their magazine. They have already started accepting demos for the compilation which features signed and unsigned bands across the country and outside keeping the primary focus on the Northeast Indian bands. Announcing the news today; associate editor Priya Konthoujam said that they have received an overwhelming response of over 800 entries last year for their 4th edition the compilation album from bands across the nation as well as from the Asian countries like Indonesia. “This year we’re hoping for more, and hopefully it will be a bountiful, bigger than the Volume IV which contained 2 CDs” she adds, encouraging the bands to be a part of the compilation which is inexorable to give your band a very good exposure in this part of the world.
